Ancient Greek Sculptures
Greece is known for its incredible beauty and history, and especially the archaeological findings of famous ancient Greek art. Among the favorites includes stunning sculptural works of partial to fully nude humans and mythical creatures.
Sexy Construction
Ancient Greek statues were crafted from stone and bronze. Marble and other high quality stones were carved with metal tools to define the subtle and sharp shapes of the human form. Bronze statues, more rare in findings and usually displaying higher status, were made using the lost wax technique.
The Classical and Hellenistic Eras
The most commonly known statues existed from the Classical and Hellenistic eras of Greek art where there was a strong emphasis on capturing realism with sculptural pieces. Elongating the limbs as well as posing the body in unique positions also became popular during these periods.
Where do you look first? Sexy Details…
I’m sure it is human nature to immediately sneak a peek at erotic zones in statues no matter the gender. But if you can manage to pull yourself away from admiring or comparing yourself to the subject’s package, you will also notice exceptional details displaying the craftsmanship of Greek sculptors.
I particularly have a fondness of the leg and butt area…
The shaping of the legs and butts found on Greek statues intrigues me because of the intense sense of realism. I find beauty in the curvature of the muscles, and even have fun with little details like dimples above the butt.
